Visited Expo as a family of 5 and used our free tickets from Emirates Airline These were exchanged on our first day to a season ticket so for us entry was free. I could see the plight of some guys who got their own cars and wasn't much better for them either. To get out and find a bus outside, I had to spend an extra hour as the security guys volunteers and rta guys have got no clue and most of them admit it as well. There should be more facilities for the visitors. Get ready to get more confused with pavillion names like 'mission possible’. Get a map from one of the visitor centres, but you could never get a sign stating where you are. Volunteers themselves are so confused on the directions. If you going to buy something, get ready to shell out atleast 45 minutes in queue only to get to a supermarket where the only water available us expensive aquafina tin cans. Get ready to tan and tire yourself if going in the morning or noon.

Most pavillions don't even have their country guys to explain, who with very limited knowledge have just to say paper fed lines. Some of them force their time on you by crawling or forcing you to show stuffs when you just want to escape. So countries also have grand advertisement of the companies. Pavillions are more of an advertisement of the country and have got hardly anything to do with the theme. Even after paying for the ticket, some stuffs like a garden in roof etc needs you to put more. Some cultural shows were private so you can't even enter. After all, it all started as expo 2020 and it's the last q of 2021. They won't allow you inside and some ask you to return after few hours. Some of the pavillion are not yet open and most not fully constructed. You can see the huge money spent, but it's not worth the experience. Too much of space has been underutilized.

Driver and authorities took time to figure out who to take to expo, guys with ticket or free ride to all. Starting with the free bus - the expo rider. Got on the first day with much expectations. Infrastructure is similar to Europe and you can find just about anything that exists in any European or American or Asian city - and much much more, at about the same cost. This is definitely a city that is a destination unto itself and well worth a week-long visit. Having never been to Dubai before, I was amazed by all that I discovered there.

Riding metro was a breeze - just avoid rush hour when trains are full - the trains run every 2 to 4 minutes so if one is full wait for the next one! The architecture, design, innovation, use of androids and artificial intelligence, and the amazing restaurants (the food guide is 52 pages long) make it a worthwhile experience. I could have easily spent a whole week exploring this Expo.

I spent three full days and managed to see all the major sites and about thirty national pavilions. It’s a great way to visit the World without needing to travel beyond the Expo site. We’re so glad we went and only wish we had another day to go back and visit a few more of the stands we didn’t get to. I’d highly recommend a coffee from the Italian booth and we ate in the Luxembourg Schengen restaurant for dinner which was on par with fine dining for a very reasonable price with excellent wine choices. Lots of food options both fast food and fine dining and many great opportunities to try food and drink from difference countries. We were there most of the day 10am-10pm and only saw approx 30% of the site and maybe went in less than 10% of the stands it’s that big! I’d research before you go on which to visit and plan ahead - our favourites were UAE, Saudi, Kazakhstan and Switzerland but we also found the smaller ones really interesting to learn about some countries we knew very little about. We hesitated about going and taking up a whole day of our short stay in Dubai but we were really glad we went and I would highly recommend.
